Root Beer Pulled Pork
This is a quick fix version of one of my Dutch oven favorites. It's great for camping trips because it can be made in baking mode or it can be simmered over a will controlled campfire.

Instructions
Pre-heat Dutch oven to 400 degrees.
Cut onions into 1/2 inch thick rings. Place them into the Dutch oven and allow them to sweat while you prepare the remaining ingredients.
In a large bowl, mix Tobasco, chili sauce, garlic, vanilla extract, crushed red pepper and root beer.
Place pork on top of the bed of onions, pour mixture over it and replace the lid.
After two hours, check the meat for tenderness. If it parts easily with a fork, remove the meat to a platter.
Shred the pork into small pieces using two forks. Put the pork back into the Dutch oven, mixing it thoroughly with the sauce.
Add more coals under the Dutch oven and let the dish simmer uncovered until the sauce cooks down to your preferred consistency.
Serve on flour tortillas with your choice of toppings.
