review: keurig mini coffee brewer

I wrote about this particular gadget in one of my other blogs. Since I’ve been using it in the RV I thought I’d share it with this group. You can read the whole review and why I chose it at Jot and Jitter.

Space is a premium commodity in most RVs, but even more so in our tiny travel trailer. I want my joe and I want it now, but where do I put the machine?

Since I spend most of my waking hours outside the trailer, the answer is that it goes outside, too. We have a small table that we set up next to the electrical outlet on the side of the trailer. It holds our toaster oven, the Keurig and a box of K-Cups. Now when I need that caffeine boost, it always within easy reach.

The unit is small enough to fit easily in one of the cabinets in the galley when we are traveling. It’s also one of the first things to get used after I put up the screen room.

This machine makes the absolute best cup of coffee I’ve ever had. And it has the bonus of doing it one cup at a time. No more forgetting that  the coffee pot is still on when I go hiking. We’ve all come back to camp to find that gooey sludge baked to the bottom of the pot. No more.

The next time you see us at the park, stop by for a cup of the best cup of coffee in the campground. You’ll be glad you did.

While I’m at it I’d like to give a shout out and kudos to the folks at These are the folks who keep us supplied with a huge variety of coffees, teas, cocoa and other goodies.

I’m very lucky that they are located in my hometown. I can place an order online and then stop by when I’m in the area to pick it up. How good is that? They also ship direct to your home or they can set up a business account if you need it.

Customer service is top notch. When I injured my back last week, Carol and Becca went so far as to help me up from the couch in their office and loaded my order into the back of my truck for me. They included an autographed tote bag for my wife, and they always make time to play with Lil Harry when he goes with me. Customer services doesn’t get any better than that.
